When weather permits, the construction crew will be removing the roof to replace the beams. Then they will replace the roof and continue with the restoration inside.
On December 27, 2009,
our beloved sanctuary was destroyed by fire.
| In the midst of suffering and loss, we have been reminded of the truth that our God is the God of life, and not just any kind of life, but resurrection life, through the love and forgiveness of our Lord Jesus Christ. | |

As we set out to rebuild, we have come to understand that we are not just fixing a building. |

We have come to understand, that Christ our Lord is helping us use this experience of tragedy and loss as an invitation to each of us to be transformed from the inside out. |

We understand that our Lord is calling to a resurrection life in ministry with and for our families, our community and our world. WE have learned that a resurrection life is not about getting back to “business as usual”. |

A resurrection life requires each person’s commitment to learn and grow and change – to seek more and more to follow God’s will for our lives, instead of our own will. |

The Biblical preaching in this place keeps us focused on our ongoing quest to grow in our relationship with God thru Jesus Christ, so we can better seek and do God’s will at home, in our community and in the world. |
